New Shingles and Boarding
This past summer the men took advantage of the drier and warmer weather to strip the cedar shingles off selected elevations of two bungalows near Canterbury.
One gable elevation saw the removal of cedar shingles, replaced with new shingles and finished with a generous coat of Texnap 22 oil.
The other bungalow saw decayed cedar shingles removed and replaced on part of the bungalow. On the gable end, the cedar shingles were removed, fibre board and Celotex insulation was added, followed by cedar boarding and a coat of Texnap 22 oil to nourish and prolong the new cedar.
