Cedar can be gently washed down using a pressure washer and applying T22 oil once dried. This will give continuity and lasting appearance of colour. Providing a colour based stain has not been applied, which will make it difficult to clean off, the recommendation for re-applying the oil is each 3-5 years thereafter.
