We had a sun room/conservatory attached to the rear of the bungalow, a timber structure with a twin wall polycarbonate roof. The roof was leaking badly, due to insufficient fall and had defied all efforts to stop the leaks.

Martin Ross came and made a detailed inspection to look at demolition and replacement with a new ‘Garden Room’ solid roof with roof light, insulated and with double glazed windows. A quote was given and duly accepted in the knowledge that they understand the construction of a ‘Colt’ house.

During May 2024 Martin, Nick & Alex arrived, cleared the site and built the new room, with checks at each stage to ensure that we were happy with everything. A new felt roof, with a good ‘fall’ was laid by selected specialists. As the work progressed everything was explained and some worthwhile upgrades, such as a new floor were suggested and costed, with understanding of our budget.

As always with Colt the work was carried out to the highest standards in all respects and it was a pleasure to have the team on site, with the assurance that this would be a job well done.

My wife and I are extremely pleased with the finished result and also with the additional ancillary works carried out as a follow on. We have every confidence in highly recommending W.H.Colt & Son.
