Insulate and Re-clad in Perthshire
The men swapped South East England for Perthshire to work on a bungalow we visited several years ago to replace the windows.
Decayed cedar boarding was removed from the front elevation; Celotex was fitted in the void for insulation, in addition to re-fitting the original insulation board and a further layer of Celotex, completed with a Tyvek breathable membrane. Battens were then fixed and finished with best quality Western Red cedar boarding, completed with a coat of Texnap 22 oil.
This will result in not only an outstanding look, but warmth for winter!
