New Church Room Roof
Two weeks during the Spring sunshine saw the completion of the re-roofing of both elevations of the Church Room at St Cosmas and St Damian Church, Blean, near Canterbury, Kent.
Each cedar shingle was stripped from the roof, then the roof was covered with a Tyvek breathable membrane, followed by the fixing of roof battens and completed with new Western Red cedar shingles, resulting in a stunning new look for the Church clergy and all walkers passing by on the nearby Crab and Winkle Way en-route to Whitstable!
