New Bank of Windows in Windsor
A bank of full height windows in the living room of a Colt bungalow typically consists of five four foot units. The brief on this occasion was to reduce the width of the other two units, thus enabling some screening of the tv wires and a more suitable wall for the curtains to hang in the corners.
All five redundant windows and under panels were removed, replacing these with energy rated A Nut Tree uPVC windows, all factory fitted in our unique treated softwood sub-frames. For a brighter finish, the inside section of plastic remained white and together, with new Southern Yellow architrave and skirting, all that remains is the client’s choice of finish for the internal joinery. New insulated under panels were installed and the ebony stained cedar boarding was carefully married together by our expert craftsman.
With temperatures in the high thirties, work was not compromised and still completed in two days!
